Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Replacement Riser Arm. This is going to replace one of your arms on your boat's hatch. It will work for hatches that are either 20 inches long or 20 inches wide. It will allow you to gently close your hatch without slamming. So you can see how it functions here, just like your original. You have the locking knob here, that's going to create some resistance, lock it in place, or just make it retract slower or faster.
You have more control on that. It's going to be very easy to get installed, going to attach to the same mounting locations as the original, so that you can get this installed inside your boat's hatch. It does have marine-grade aluminum to make sure that it's going to resist any corrosion when you're out there in the water. It is going to be very easy to install. However, the hardware that you're going to need to install it is not included. So you will have to provide that yourself. Most likely you already have that hardware from the previous one.
As long as that hardware is not broken, you should be able to use it for this. This is made here in the USA, so you can trust it's held high quality standards. This will work for either the left side or the right side of your hatch, so either your port or your starboard, and I think it's going to do a good job for you to help keep that hatch open, or make sure that it closes slowly so that you're not getting caught in it or anything like that.So if you're needing a new hatch arm, I think this is going to be a great option for you. That's going to complete our look at the Replacement Riser Arm. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
